We started this journey many years ago, knowing that our daughter was waiting for us somewhere in China. That journey began in 2004, but after a setback healthwise, we had to pull out, thinking our hopes were dashed forever. Then in late 2005, with renewed purpose and strength we again began the process of our adoption. We were logged into China March 28th, 2006, and were matched with our Dear Daughter, October 13th, 2009. GOTCHA 12/14/09 Forever Ours 12/15/09

We went to the local Nanchang Museum, and they presented a wonderful show. We got there late, and we so wish we were able to see more.....colorful costumes, beautiful women, and wonderful music. Sorry for the crappy photo.... hard to take pictures with Miss Velcro Baby.
Walking around the museum a bit, and then right to the souvenir shop where we bought lots of neat trinkets.
Lunch was at a beautiful restaurant where I believe that they do many weddings. The food is always served at a huge round table, with the hugest glass lazy suzan you ever did see... the food as always was incredible. Many of the dishes are repetitive, but I believe that we, as Americans aren't really ready for the local cuisine....... ie. pigeon, they had to pull it off one of our menu's, thank goodness.
The backdrop was unbelievable....... and here's Daddy bonding with his little Princess. We've yet to see the sunshine in Nanchang, but we just bring our own...... Baylon will light up everything in her path.
More fun with Pops.....
