My fur kids just relaxing after a mile walk.... we're in Florida, hubby's in New York...... not used to this humidity and heat. I hear it was in the 60's in New York today.

Oh well..... hoping that Dave and I are in the same State if and when we get that call, VBG !!!

Long Time No Post - May 6th, 2009

We are still waiting the wait.  Can't believe that months are rolling by, and my boy Pirate is becoming a little man..... well a BIG man really.

Day after day, new people come into our lives......... day after day, old acquantances can become new. People that have played a seemingly inconsequential role in our lives, suddenly are cast as a key player. More often than not, these people do not get the recognition that they deserve.

Currently, I am experiencing such an event. A person that is intertwined in my life has made quite an impact. We have gone through some of the same twists of fate that life has to offer, and suddenly a deep friendship has blossomed.

I just want to say thank you.............

An outstretched hand......... taken in good faith, can become a bridge - if it's strong, that bridge, will go in both directions.

This is the latest......... so perty........

We are gearing up for a bunch of new shows........ starting March, Pirate will begin showing again....... we'll show in W. Palm Beach....... and then in Raleigh N.C., followed by Springfield, MA, Harrisburg, PA and ending, at least for now in Springfield, MA.

Crossing our fingers, toes and all body parts for referrals to increase over the coming months......... we may see our baby's face soon...... !!!!!

WOW, long time no post - January 22, 2009

Now that the CCAA has started referring babies with March '06 log in dates......... we are starting to feel officially paper pregnant........ yet again. Rumor has it, that the stork is in the air, but that the CCAA has only referred 2 days worth........... check out the Rumor Queen for the latest rumors -

If that's the case, well we're still 2 days closer, but not close enough..................We have yet to set up our nursery....... one thing that stood in our way, besides the desire to do this, what with the wait being what it is....... but this friggin' leak that has plagued us, ever since we expanded and built several new rooms....... one being the baby's room. We finally have someone that believes, and justifiably so, just how to fix the problem. They started yesterday, and have already pinpointed 7 target problem areas, and are in the process of rectifying the issue.

It broke my heart that the only finished room in the house......leaked. We now have to break through the ceiling and pull the insulation, and redo that, and then we'll move onto the baby's room. I still think that we have a least 6 months before we see a picture of our little one, or ones........ still hopin' for twins.

Now, lets see...... ahhhhhhhhh yes, one more thing. We showed in Fitchburg almost 2 weeks ago, and whereas Pirate didn't win the Major, he did get two points - Below is the link to my boys page in the Briard section of winners and bragging rights of infodog....... we now have a total of 5 points........... we need those Major's though, and will try again in the Spring........ unless we sign up for a show in Florida. We're hoping to head south in about 3 weeks.

I'm waiting on the edge of my seat...... I've heard that the referrals have started to roll in, BUT, my agency usually tells us the cutoff date and they've yet to do this........ and this worries me. I am praying that all of February is gone, AND MARCH IS FINALLY UP............ O H PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE !!

This would truly be the best end to an upsetting year......:)
